COSOT PRODUCTS

  • How to download the application?
After receiving the product, access the COSOT website from the QR code on the product package. There you will find instructions for downloading the application.
  • Which COSOT gadget should I choose?
Please choose a wristband with two NFC chips or a band for Apple. Tags for lost child tags or pets contain only one NFC chip, so only one function can be set.
  • Does the COSOT gadget need to be recharged?
    No charging is required.
  • Is the COSOT gadget waterproof? Is it safe to use in hot water or bath?
It is waterproof. If the wristband is made of silicon, you can take a bath while wearing it.
  • If I lose my COSOT gadget, is it safe from information leakage?
In case of loss, you can disable the functions set from the application.
  • If I want to edit “text information” written on the NFC chip using the COSOT application, do I have to overwrite it on the NFC chip each time?
It is sufficient to edit it on the app side. It will be reflected.
  • What is the difference between COSOT and GPS?
COSOT uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which is different from GPS.
  • SOS & ALERT and Lost & Find require “holding up a smartphone”.
No, it is not necessary. Simply open your phone and hold it over the screen. However, your smartphone must have an NFC reader.
  • For business use, I would like to put information about a new product on the COSOT Apple Watch band at a trade show. Can I put videos or PDF documents?
If the video or PDF document in question is publicly available, you can simply write its URL in the NFC.
  • Why does COSOT use SMS for notification?
SMS uses the same circuit switching system as the telephone, but SMS uses a signal line and the telephone uses a voice line. Therefore, SMS can easily contact you even if your phone is disconnected. Furthermore, SMS data is lighter than telephone data and does not place a burden on the line. Therefore, SMS has been proven to be highly reachable even in times of disaster, when large amounts of data are expected to be sent.
  • Is there a monthly fee?
No, there is no monthly fee for current functions. If new functions are added, there may be a usage fee.

About Us

Good Shape, LLC (https://www.goodshape.jp/) is a mobility (mobile communications and mobility) start-up company, creating an interesting future in mobile communications and mobility. With business partners in Japan, Korea, Germany, India, and other countries, the company conducts R&D globally from its base in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. There are two business areas we are developing.

Business Area #1: NFC (Near Field Communication technology)

Using NFC (Near Field Communication technology) to connect people and add value to human mobility, and to provide services where one's casual movement can be useful to others and increase the safety and convenience of daily life. Specifically, starting with COSOT (Model 1), which will be unveiled this time, we will sequentially increase the functions of COSOT to connect people to people, people to cities, and people to domestic commercial facilities. By doing so, we plan to create the safest, most enjoyable, and attractive Japan in the world, where people can feel the connection and “warmth” of others.

Business Area #2: Electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, and ultra-compact EVs (electric vehicles)

We will develop e-bikes and micro EVs (electric vehicles) that are incomparably beautiful and transform the rider's daily life, from design to manufacturing. Currently, we are still in the development stage of electric bicycles and 3-wheeled electric bicycles, but we will start designing “super cool” small 4-wheeled electric vehicles as we find domestic development partners.

Who can become a “COSOT Agent” and how? Is the registration process automatic?

COSOT is based on the spirit of mutual aid. If a registered COSOT user (no need to purchase a COSOT gadget) wants to help someone in need, such as a disaster victim, a school child in the neighborhood, a disabled person in trouble at a station, a female student being molested, etc., he/she can upload an image of his/her ID card to COSOT and then apply to become a COSOT Agent. After uploading an image of your ID to COSOT and applying for agent registration, your registration will be completed when the COSOT administrator verifies your application. The user in need of an SOS & ALERT can pre-select an “Agent” to send a rescue call. If the “agent” is within 500M of the user, the SOS & ALERT will be received via SMS. The phone will ask “Do you want to go to the rescue?” question and a “Yes” button will appear, and when you press “Yes”, you will see the location of the COSOT user in need of rescue. This “SOS & ALERT” function will disclose “when and who pressed YES for rescue” as a history in the COSOT application (no personal identification is allowed), and celebrate the dedication of the “agent” as a hero. Of course, no registration fee is required.
